Nglish: Translation of the agreement for Spanish spokespeople Since the 1500s, compact has been used in English to designate an agreement or contract between two or more parties. It is derived from Latin compactum („agreement“), a noun using compactus, the participatory past of compacisci („making an agreement“) that binds the prefix com („together“) to pacisci („to be agreed or agreed“). Pascisci is also the source of the pact, a precedent synonymous with compact. Since the beginning of the 14th century, borrowing has been used for different types of „binding“ agreements or alliances, such as „the bonds of sacred marriage.“ Later, this meaning was generalized to each element or „binding“ force as „the bond of friendship.“ In the law of the sixteenth century, it became the name of an act or other legal instrument that „binds“ a person to pay a sum of money due or promised. As a deal („I agree on the assessment“), correspondence means consent. The verb comes from the Latin competition, which means „to gather in haste, to collide, to exist at the same time, to be in agreement,“ and the name – concordance – derives from the Latin parallel, „to come together, to occur at the same time.“ The use of conformity corresponds to that of the Latin ancestor. In addition, the agreement has the broader meaning of „agreement of action or opinion.“ Now that there is an etcetera in an agreement, there is always an opening to quarrels. Bargain, as a nod and verb, began to be exchanged in English in the 14th century. We know that it developed from the Anglo-French Bargaigner, which means „bargaining,“ but its history later is unclear. The first known use refers to a company that refers to a discussion between two parties on the terms of the agreement. What made you want to try a deal? Please tell us where you read or heard it (including the quote, if possible).
He advised her to be careful and ask for a copy of the agreement. What do you mean for Concords? one. The word chords togither, in some particular accidents or qualities: as in a number, person, case, or sex. – John Brinsley, The Posing of the Parts, 1612 In Anglo-French, approval referred to an arrangement agreed between two or more parties as well as to the action or fact of agreeing, consenting, or competing (more on these „c“ words later). Late middle English accepted the word as agreely with the same meanings, which are today widely spread. Modern spelling, chord, was used at the same time as desire. The mention of Mege led them all to an agreement, because they hated him unanimously. The word also has a verbal meaning: „to promise or reach a formal agreement.“ You will find an example in Holmes` quote at the convention (above). I do not recall anything being said about that in our agreement. Again, as well, they looked at each other with a meaning on their faces. It is fair to say that we are on the verge of reaching an agreement, subject to paper exchange, and we hope to reach an agreement tomorrow, we have settled most of our differences and those we do not have, we will continue the discussion because there will be other bills. In the 17th century, the cartel referred to a written agreement between the warring nations, particularly for the treatment and exchange of prisoners.
This use is illustrated by Bishop Gilbert Burnet in his story of his own time (1734): „Thanks to a cartel that had been established between the two armies, all prisoners had to be redeemed at a certain price and within a limited time.“ The market believes that an agreement between Greece and the EU is more likely than there are none, and fears of a Greek exit have therefore dissipated somewhat, so we see an appetite for riskier markets, including the periphery.
