Ema Learning Agreement Part 2

The apprenticeship agreement is an agreement between the student and the higher education institution that defines the conditions under which the EMA and the two bonuses must be paid. Apprenticeship agreements are signed and dated by both parties and maintained by the school/university. Once you have received the letter, make sure all the correct indications are correct. If you need to change something or haven`t received your letter yet, contact the EMA helpline. If you received EMA in the last academic year, you do not need to complete another application form. Instead, you will receive a letter of handovers in which you can check, and your parents or guardians may have asked for details about your income. If you received EMA during the 2019-2020 academic year and continue your studies in 2020 to 2021, you will not have to complete another application form. Instead, you will receive a return award in June to advise you on your EMA award for the years 2020 to 2021. This is based on the financial assessment of your previous academic year. If all the information in the recipient`s reward letter is correct, you must sign your apprenticeship contract within eight weeks of the start of the course, which gives you the right to make any payment backdated at the beginning of the period. The form must be completed and returned within 30 days to Student Loans Company, or your EMA payments are suspended. You must also follow the rules and participation objectives in your apprenticeship contract – your school or university must confirm your participation in the Student Loans Company.

To be considered for the January bonus, you must sign Part 2 of your apprenticeship agreement by December 3. As a returning student who was authorized to receive the EMA between 2020 and 2021, the Student Loans Company may provide parents or legal guardians with a financial data form asking them to provide details of household income for the 2018 to 2019 fiscal year.
